Archbishop Levada, American Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith

So the big news now, besides JP the Great's Beatification process being recently opened, is that Archbishop William Levada for San Francisco was chosen as the replacement of then-Cardinal Ratzinger as the Prefect of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith. It seems to be in interesting move, being that Archbishop Levada is an American. But, we need to trust the Holy Father's better judgement here. Any thoughts on the new Prefect?
