Science vs. Reality
Shouldn't science and reality agree? Hasn't natural law been established by the Prime Mover for a reason? In this day and age, where we are becoming much more scientifically enabled than we were 800 years ago, you'd think that people would begin to believe in the absolute truth more. After all, aren't we absolutely able to prove more things are the way they are for a certain reason? Aren't we able to show that there is order to things? It seems, however, that quite the opposite is going on. It seems that in a day and age where science is at its high for the history of the world, that there are more people who won't agree that the fence behind them actually exists. It seems that with the dawn of the age of science, that there has been more moral relativism and more existentialism. Likewise, it seems that there is less of an understanding of natural law. In coming to understand the ways of nature, wouldn't it make sense that natural law would be understood better? I would think so, but maybe that's because I believe that there are real, unchanging truths, not just whatever I feel like at the time.
