The Devil's Warfare

Daughter - "Can I add an intention?"
Mother - "Sure."
Daughter - "I want to pray that the devil will leave John and Anne alone."

This is a true story, only I've changed the names.

I was speaking to a good friend, we'll call her Veronica, today, and her son is getting married on June 10th (please pray for him and his fiancee). Veronica was saying that Anne went to visit John at his Army station, and someone on John's base got ahold of Anne's scapular. This person was in to witchcraft and what not, and when Anne got home from the trip she got really sick. The doctors has no idea what was wrong and didn't know what to prescribe for her since they couldn't diagnose her. Well, John called Veronica and asked her what to do.

John said, "Mom you know I don't want to believe in that stuff. Do you think that it's real?"
Veronica - "Yes."
John - "I mean, I don't want it to be, at least not right now."
Veronica - "Look, I know you don't want to believe it right now, but just pray with her over the phone."

Well, John spoke to Anne later that night, and she asked him to pray over the phone with her.

John - "Did you talk to my mom?"
Anne - "No."

Soon after Anne got much better. I assume that she's gotten a new scapular and that the old one was burned. It was later that Christen, a very young girl, asked her mom, Veronica, if she could add the Rosary intention.
