So I was at a friend's house recently, and being that they don't ever answer the house phone, I decided that I was going to answer the phone for them.
"Happy feast of the Baptism of the Lord! How can I help you?"
"... ... ... "

Tonight was almost the same.
"Happy feast of St. Hilary, bishop and doctor of the Church! How may I help you?"
Click.
The only differences were that there was no pause tonight, and that I said more. If I learned anything tonight and the other night, I learned how to get off the phone with telemarketers.
