Being that I've gotten two e-mail about this now, I thought that I'd post about it...
"(CBS) Outside Sacramento, at the small Vietnamese Catholic Martyrs church, a statue of the Virgin Mary appears to be crying...
'Just the fact that it's coming from the eyes, and it's a red color like blood, I would say that there's a miracle either way,' said Dave Leatherby, who visited the statue. 'Even if there's a natural explanation, it's a sign.'"
Hopefully, the true spirit of the Advent season will come about through this and help people to more fully prepare for Christmas, the Mass of Christ, the Most Holy Solemnity of the Nativity.
Christ's birth comes in 26 days. May we all prepare ourselves for that glorious day.
"Hail and blessed be the hour and the moment at which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary in Bethlehem at midnight in the piercing cold. In that hour, vouchsafe, oh my God, to hear my prayer and grant my petition through the merits of Jesus Christ and His most holy Mother. Amen." (to be said 15 times each day during Advent)
